SOUTH FACE is a Schuck development of 233 homes in the Rockrimmon/Peregrine area, built between 1993 and 2000.
The project is located just north of Vindicator Dr., between Rockrimmon Blvd. and Centennial Blvd. South Face is about a mile from the extensive Hewlett-Packard campus which is just one of several technology employers in the area. The technology companies extend several miles to the south as well as extending to the north, with the FedEx campus being about the furthest, at 10 miles north on I-25. South Face is about 2.5 miles from I-25 and 4.5 miles from the south gate of the Air Force Academy.
South Face is home to an variety of wildlife including deer, foxes, bobcats, rabbits, bears, coyotes, squirrels and other animals. The houses in South Face back up to or are very close to areas of open space, forested areas and natural landscaping.
Just across Vindicator Blvd. is Ute Valley Park with mountain biking and hiking trails covering 338 acres. And just north of Ute Valley Park is Wilson Ranch Park, complete with a pool and water park, skateboard park, tennis courts, basketball courts, a play area and a big green space.
