Castle Rock (Douglas County), Colorado -
CASTLE OAKS is a master planned residential and commercial community:
Castle Oaks is primarily residential, but includes 46 acres of commercial sites. Since approximately 48% (500 acres) of the site is designated as open space, active parks (including a large regional park) and trails, the project will provide a variety of open space and developed parks close to the neighborhoods. Phase I (for which all the infrastructure is virtually completed) is planned for an elementary school. The middle school and high school serving Castle Oaks are located within Castle Rock.
Over 250 homes have already been built and sold by D.R. Horton and Centex builders [see brick red color on the Conceptual Plan] on the 380 lots that the two builders acquired in 2004 and 2005 and developed during 2005.
Located in the South Denver Metro area, the property is generally located adjacent to Founders Parkway and intersecting Highway 86, just a few miles ease of downtown Castle Rock. Downtown Denver, Colorado Springs, and Denver International Airport are all approximately 45 minutes from Castle Oaks. Commuting from Castle Oaks to jobs in the Denver-Metro area, and especially the southern Interstate 25 corridor to the Denver Tech Center, Meridian, and Inverness business parks, is very convenient and common.
